The Go Team - Bikini Twilight (1989)

The Go Team was a short-lived 80's collaboration between Calvin Johnson and Tobi Vail (of Beat Happening and Bikini Kill renown, respectively). The band's output consisted of only a few releases: three cassette EP's released in '87, '88, and '89, and nine 7" singles put out as part of a monthly series for K Records in 1989, each one experimenting with different styles and collaborators.

This particular cut is from the July 1989 7" release and features Kurt Cobain on guitar, but seems to be relatively unknown in that regard (Cobain was also dating Vail at the time). There are two guitars on the track -- one grimey and one with more shine. I'll let you guess which one is Kurt.
